About Us

Locally owned and managed by Kristin & Mike

Founded in 2022 and opened in 2023 by the locals Kristin and Mike, Comb & Collar Club is a community-driven salon rooted in Schaumburg, Illinois. Our groomers use the most cutting-edge concepts in the dog grooming industry and bring a unique, clean, and elevated art/craft to the process.

The salon started to give back to the community and pursue our shared passion for animals. What began as a pet-sitting venture has evolved into a flourishing hub with hundreds of satisfied grooming clients.

Outside their business, Kristin and Mike indulge in their love for food and coffee, engage in house projects, embark on short getaways, and revel in outdoor activities.

Kristin, a Fear Free Certified professional with 17 years of experience in the veterinary field, obtained her grooming certificate from Beach for Dogs in Naperville, Illinois. Her responsibilities encompass appointment scheduling, meet & greets, grooming/baths, and team management.

On the other hand, Mike brings his background in Corporate Finance and IT.

All our groomers hold their respective schooling certificates, undergo our high standards of training, and partake in continuous education through Barkleigh. Committed to providing a stress-free and enjoyable experience, our skilled experts excel in dog handling.
